Recombinant FGF2 protein contains 154 amino acids. It is a 17 kDa non-glycosylated monomer. This is a "thermostable" version of FGF2 protein specially engineered to enhance its thermostability without affecting its biological functions. This protein exibited superior stability in culture medium and is ideal for use as a component of cell culture media for stem cell research.
