ELISA: Microtiter wells were coated with KT57 at 5 ug/mL as the capture antibody. Human EGF was used as the antigen. Peroxidase conjugated mouse anti-human EGF monoclonal antibody (KT2) was used as the detection antibody. Result: KT57 and KT2 can be used as a matched antibody pair to detect and quantify the concentration of EGF.
Western Blot: 25 ng of recombinant human EGF was run on 6-18% SDS-PAGE under reducing conditions and blotted onto nitrocellulose membrane. KT57 at 1 ug/mL was used as the primary antibody and peroxidase conjugated goat anti-mouse IgG was used as the secondary antibody. EGF band was visualized using ECL Substrate. Result: KT57 can detect human EGF by Western blotting.
