Immunohistochemistry: IHC-P analysis of gallbladder tissue by LGALS2 antibody (K70037_5D10). IHC-P was performed using sections of the formalin-fixed paraffin-embedded gallbladder tissue.
Immunoprecipitation: Immunoprecipitation was performed by incubation of 2.5 ug of K70037_5D10 with kidney tissue lysate containing 200 ug of total protein. After absorption with Protein G beads, the mixture was run on 6-18% SDS-PAGE and blotted onto nitrocellulose membrane. LGALS2 (K70037_5D10) at 1 ug/mL was used as the primary antibody and peroxidase conjugated goat anti-mouse IgG was used as the secondary antibody. The isotype control antibody was KT82. Lane 1: Kidney tissue lysate Lane 2: LGALS2 immunoprecipitated from kidney tissue lysate by K70037_5D10 Lane 3: The same as Lane 2 but KT82 was used as IgG isotype control antibody Result: K70037_5D10 can immunoprecipitate LGALS2.
Western Blot: 15 ug of kidney tissue lysate was run on 6-18% SDS-PAGE under reducing conditions and blotted onto nitrocellulose membrane. K70037_5D10 at 1 ug/mL was used as the primary antibody and peroxidase conjugated goat anti-mouse IgG was used as the secondary antibody. LGALS2 band was visualized using ECL Western Blotting Substrate. Result: K70037_5D10 can detect LGALS2 by Western blotting.
