Immunohistochemistry: IHC-P analysis of mouse hippocampus tissue by GFAP antibody (K70012_6D3). IHC-P was performed using sections of the formalin-fixed paraffin-embedded mouse hippocampus tissue.
Immunoprecipitation: Immunoprecipitation was performed by incubation of 2.5 ug of K70012_6D3 with rat brain lysate containing 200 ug of total protein. After absorption with Protein G beads, the mixture was run on 6-18% SDS-PAGE and blotted onto nitrocellulose membrane. Anti-GFAP (K70012_6D3) at 1 ug/mL was used as the primary antibody and peroxidase conjugated rabbit anti-mouse IgG (Light chain specific) was used as the secondary antibody. The isotype control antibody was KT82. Lane 1: Rat brain lysate Lane 2: GFAP immunoprecipitated from rat brain lysate by K70012_6D3 Lane 3: The same as Lane 2 but KT82 was used as IgG isotype control antibody Result: K70012_6D3 can immunoprecipitate GFAP.
Western Blot: 15 ug of mouse brain lysate was run on 6-18% SDS-PAGE under reducing conditions and blotted onto nitrocellulose membrane. K70012_6D3 at 1 ug/mL was used as the primary antibody and peroxidase conjugated rabbit anti-mouse IgG (Light chain specific) was used as the secondary antibody. GFAP band was visualized using ECL Western Blotting Substrate. Result: K70012_6D3 can detect GFAP by Western blotting.
Western Blot: 15 ug of rat brain tissue lysate was run on 6-18% SDS-PAGE under reducing conditions and blotted onto nitrocellulose membrane. K70012_6D3 at 1 ug/mL was used as the primary antibody and peroxidase conjugated goat anti-mouse IgG was used as the secondary antibody. GFAP band was visualized using ECL Substrate. Result: K70012_6D3 can detect GFAP by Western blotting.
