ELISA: Microtiter wells were coated with K70012_14F2 at 3 ug/mL as the capture antibody. GFAP (Cat. PP-470) was used as the antigen. Peroxidase conjugated mouse anti-human GFAP monoclonal antibody (K70012_1G1) was used as the detection antibody. Result: K70012_14F2 and K70012_1G1 can be used as a matched antibody pair to detect and quantify the concentration of GFAP.

Immunohistochemistry: IHC-P analysis of cerebellum tissue by GFAP antibody (K70012_14F2). IHC-P was performed using sections of the formalin-fixed paraffin-embedded cerebellum tissue.

Immunohistochemistry: IHC-P analysis of mouse brain tissue by GFAP antibody (K70012_14F2). IHC-P was performed using sections of the formalin-fixed paraffin-embedded mouse brain tissue.

Immunoprecipitation: Immunoprecipitation was performed by incubation of 2.5 ug of K70012_14F2 with mouse brain tissue lysate containing 200 ug of total protein. After absorption with Protein G beads, the mixture was run on 6-18% SDS-PAGE and blotted onto nitrocellulose membrane. GFAP (K70012_4F3) at 1 ug/mL was used as the primary antibody and peroxidase conjugated rabbit anti-mouse IgG (Light chain specific) was used as the secondary antibody. The isotype control antibody was KT82. Lane 1: Mouse brain tissue lysate Lane 2: GFAP immunoprecipitated from mouse brain tissue lysate by K70012_14F2 Lane 3: The same as Lane 2 but KT82 was used as IgG isotype control antibody Result: K70012_14F2 can immunoprecipitate GFAP.

Western Blot: 15 ug of mouse brain tissue lysate was run on 6-18% SDS-PAGE under reducing conditions and blotted onto nitrocellulose membrane. K70012_14F2 at 1 ug/mL was used as the primary antibody and peroxidase conjugated goat anti-mouse IgG (Light chain specific) was used as the secondary antibody. GFAP band was visualized using ECL Western Blotting Substrate. Result: K70012_14F2 can detect GFAP by Western blotting.

Western Blot: 15 ug of rat brain tissue lysate was run on 6-18% SDS-PAGE under reducing conditions and blotted onto nitrocellulose membrane. K70012_14F2 at 1 ug/mL was used as the primary antibody and peroxidase conjugated goat anti-mouse IgG was used as the secondary antibody. GFAP band was visualized using ECL Substrate. Result: K70012_14F2 can detect GFAP by Western blotting.
