ELISA: Microtiter wells were coated with KT170 at 5 ug/mL as the capture antibody. Human S100B was used as the antigen. Peroxidase conjugated mouse anti-human S100B (KT169) monoclonal antibody was used as the detection antibody. Result: KT170 and KT169 can be used as a matched antibody pair to detect and quantify the concentration of S100B.
Western Blot: 25 ng of recombinant human S100B was run on 6-18% SDS-PAGE under reducing conditions and blotted onto nitrocellulose membrane. KT170 at 1 ug/mL was used as the primary antibody and peroxidase conjugated goat anti-mouse IgG was used as the secondary antibody. S100B band was visualized using ECL Substrate. Result: KT170 can detect recombinant human S100B by Western blotting.
