Cross reactivity test: Microtiter wells were coated with recombinant human Tau and phosphorylated Tau proteins. KT234 was used as primary antibody and peroxidase conjugated goat anti- mouse IgG was used as the secondary antibody. Result: KT234 can react with human Tau and phosphorylated Tau proteins.
ELISA: Microtiter wells were coated with KT234 at 3.0 ug/mL as the capture antibody. MAPT (Cat. PP-11309) was used as the antigen. Peroxidase conjugated mouse anti-human MAPT monoclonal antibody (KT232) was used as the detection antibody. Result: KT234 and KT232 can be used as a matched antibody pair to detect and quantify the concentration of MAPT .
Immunohistochemistry: IHC-P analysis of brain tissue by Tau antibody (KT234). IHC-P was performed using sections of the formalin-fixed paraffin-embedded brain tissue.
Western Blot: 25 ng of recombinant human Tau protein was run on 6-18% SDS-PAGE under reducing conditions and blotted onto nitrocellulose membrane. KT234 at 1 ug/mL was used as the primary antibody and peroxidase conjugated goat anti-mouse IgG was used as the secondary antibody. Tau band was visualized using ECL Substrate. Result: KT234 can detect recombinant human Tau by Western blotting.
